Camping at Castaic Lake
The campground at Castaic Lake is located on the shores of the lower lake or lagoon.
There are about 60 campsites designated for RVs and a few for tents. The campground is operated by
Los Angeles County.
A couple of campgrounds in the Angeles National Forest are close enough to Castaic Lake to make them good
base camps from which to launch visits to the lake, although the campsites are rather primitive. The
Castaic Lake RV Park is virtually on the lake's doorstep and offers a variety of facilities.
